Khalid Imran
I am sitting on a Comfy - yet pitch black sofa in the Bomonti home of Dug-Out's executive video editor Muhammet - Ali Ozdemir, drinking one of his fine bottles of red wine . As we wait for Khalid Imran to arrive – He sweeps in quietly, enveloping the area with an invisible cloud of his famous scent - my nose tells me it’s a heart-stopping Arabic fragrance called Kayan which is possibly the smell that one of the sheikhs would wear .
We sit and discuss back and forth how we have always wanted to collaborate and do a shoot together so 2 days before he had to leave from his very brief trip to Istanbul - We decide that we would make it happen .
Fashion is something like Khalid —aesthetically capricious, casually category-busting, impossibly cool. So when it came to styling i knew that Khalid would definitely not disappoint . And so he delivered; we were able to capture the essence of the ancient city Beyoglu - while Khalid's infectious spirit pierces through the images.
